Abstract

The background of this research is that many political parties in this country conduct communication that could be better, correct, and more efficient. Many political parties need help in conducting political communication. Many methods chosen are pragmatic politics, namely methods considered fast, such as money, necessities, etc., carried out during the campaign before the election or communication. This research examines the political communication strategy of the Nasdem Party of Central Tapanuli in facing the 2024 elections. The method used in this research is qualitative research. The data collection techniques used by the author are interviews, observation, and documentation. This research data analysis technique produces descriptive data from people or observable behavior in written or spoken words. Based on the results of the study that the communication strategy of the Nasdem Party of Central Tapanuli in facing the 2024 elections with an approach to the community that uses a cultural or socio-cultural approach model, the persuasion process carried out must be based on that communication messages can be used to influence someone.
