Wedya Journal of Multidisciplinary upholds high ethical standards in publishing. The following ethical principles apply to all parties involved: authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.
Duties of Authors
- Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure their work is original and properly cite all sources.
- Authorship: Only those who have significantly contributed to the research should be listed as authors.
- Data Accuracy: Authors must provide accurate data and ensure reproducibility of their findings.
- Disclosure of Conflicts: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
- Manuscript Withdrawal: Authors must not withdraw manuscripts during the review process without valid reasons.
Duties of Editors
- Fair Evaluation: Manuscripts must be evaluated based on academic merit without discrimination.
- Confidentiality: Editors must maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
- Avoiding Conflicts of Interest: Editors must not use unpublished manuscripts for personal research.
- Decision Making: Editors are responsible for making fair and objective publication decisions.
Duties of Reviewers
- Confidentiality: Reviewers must treat submitted manuscripts as confidential documents.
- Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively, providing constructive feedback.
- Timeliness: Reviewers should complete reviews within the agreed deadline.
- Conflict of Interest: Reviewers should decline review assignments if there is a conflict of interest.
Duties of the Publisher
- Ethical Oversight: The publisher must ensure that all ethical guidelines are followed.
- Corrections and Retractions: If needed, the publisher should facilitate corrections or retractions of published articles.
- Intellectual Property: The publisher should protect authors' intellectual property rights.
